"At Next Step, we value each client's individual educational needs. Our educational treatment plans include continuing education through a local Area Learning Center, GED options and Post-secondary options. Educational treatment plans are based on client need, past educational experience, and individual strengths. We believe that all clients can have a successful educational experience."

Next Step offers a continuing care and support program which helps support our clients in maintaining their recovery. This also assists the adolescent transition from an intense and structured setting back into the community. Alumni who have completed the  Next Step program are encouraged to continue participation in the H.E.A.R.T. Leisure Activity Program at no cost. Alumni must be chemically free and pass periodic drug screenings to be eligible. On going communication will be continued throughout this stage of treatment, as well to provide the referents with an accurate assessment of their progress in continuing care.
